Abstract:
According to the present invention, a two-dimensional virtual array probe for three-dimensional ultrasonic imaging comprises: an ultrasonic transducer; a probe body made of a metal material and having an ultrasonic radiation surface on which a plurality of waveguides are two-dimensionally arranged, and a 1/8 sphere-shaped groove portion for chaotically reflecting the ultrasonic waves radiated from the ultrasonic transducer within the interior thereof; a piezoelectric sheet arranged on the ultrasonic radiation surface such that the piezoelectric sheet can be brought into contact with an object to be probed, wherein the piezoelectric sheet enables the ultrasonic waves radiated from the probe to pass toward the object to be probed, senses the ultrasonic waves reflected from the object to be probed, and outputs a signal; and a control unit which controls the ultrasonic transducer such that the plurality of waveguides sequentially oscillate ultrasonic waves.
