TWO-PACK URETHANE RESIN COMPOSITE FOR USE IN AN ABRASIVE PAD, POLYURETHANE ABRASIVE PAD, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A POLYURETHANE ABRASIVE PAD

Provided is a two-pack urethane resin composite for use in an abrasive pad, said composite comprising: a base containing an isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer (A); and a hardener containing an isocyanate-reactive compound (B). The two-pack urethane resin composite is characterized in that the aforementioned prepolymer (A) has an isocyanate equivalent between 250 and 700 and is obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate (a1) with a polyol component that consists of an aromatic polyester polyol (a2) and a polyether polyol (a3) used together with a mass ratio (a2)/(a3) between 5:95 and 70:30. The two-pack urethane resin composite is further characterized in that the molecular chain of the aforementioned aromatic polyester polyol (a2) contains between 2 and 11 aromatic rings. Also provided are a polyurethane abrasive pad using the two-pack urethane resin composite, and a method for manufacturing a polyurethane abrasive pad.
