Abstract:
A two-stage centrifugal pump having a symmetrical impeller arrangement. The pump comprises: a pump assembly (1), a liquid inlet (2) and a liquid outlet (3) provided on the pump assembly (1), and a motor assembly provided within the pump assembly (1) and comprising a main shaft (8). Two ends of the main shaft (8) are connected to a first impeller (6) and a second impeller (7), respectively. A first-stage liquid pumping chamber (21) is formed between a liquid discharge side of the first impeller (6) and the pump assembly (1). A second-stage liquid pumping chamber (30) is formed between a liquid discharge side of the second impeller (7) and the pump assembly (1). A second-stage liquid inlet chamber (31) is provided at an inlet of the second impeller (7). The second-stage liquid pumping chamber (30) is in communication with the liquid outlet (3). The first-stage liquid pumping chamber (21) communicates with the second-stage liquid inlet chamber (31) via a liquid guide channel (4). A liquid enters the pump from the liquid inlet (2), undergoes a pressurization operation by the first impeller (6), flows into the first-stage liquid pumping chamber (21), passes through the liquid guide channel (4) and then the second-stage liquid inlet chamber (31), undergoes a second pressurization operation by the second impeller (7), then flows into the second-stage liquid pumping chamber (30), and is discharged from the liquid outlet (3).
