Abstract:
A two-stage compressor is returned to a normal operating condition when an intermediate pressure is higher than a high pressure. The two-stage compressor is provided with a buffer section (12) provided separated from an oil content separating mechanism (9) and containing a part of lubricating oil which the oil content separating mechanism (9) contains; an intermediate flow path (including low-stage discharge muffler (3) and intermediate connecting section (7)) for interconnecting a low-stage compression section (1) and a high-stage compression section (2) and allowing a refrigerant discharged from the low-stage compression section (1) to flow into the high-stage compression section (2); and a bypass circuit (10) for interconnecting the intermediate flow path and the buffer section (12). When the pressure (intermediate pressure) of the refrigerant compressed by the low-stage compression section (1) is higher than the pressure(high pressure) of the refrigerant compressed by the high-stage compression section (2), a non-return mechanism (11) causes the refrigerant flowing in the intermediate flow path to flow into the buffer section (12) via the bypass circuit (10). The construction promotes oil supply from the buffer section (12) to a vane back pressure chamber (50).
