Abstract:
A two-stroke uniflow engine (100) is provided with the following: a cylinder (110); a piston (112); an exhaust valve (120) that is opened and closed to expel exhaust gas generated within the cylinder; a scavenging port (122) through which active gas is sucked into the cylinder in accordance with the sliding action of the piston; a fuel injection port (126) disposed on the inner periphery of the cylinder; a fuel injection valve (128) for injecting fuel gas in the fuel injection port; and a fuel injection control unit (152) that executes injection control for fuel gas in the fuel injection valve. The fuel injection control unit determines at least the injection pressure or the injection duration for the fuel injection valve on the basis of changes in the pressure in the cylinder produced through the reciprocal motion of the piston.
