Abstract:
Disclosed are a two-way hydrogen fueling communication process and a device using same, which can overcome the limitations and vulnerabilities of one-way communication and improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of hydrogen fueling. The two-way hydrogen fueling communication process comprises the steps of: transmitting, to a dispenser, a request message containing a protocol list of communication protocols to be used for a fueling session of hydrogen fueling; and receiving, from the dispenser, a response message containing information about a common protocol selected by the dispenser, most preferred by a vehicle, and mutually supported by both the vehicle and the dispenser, wherein on the basis of the common protocol, the vehicle and the dispenser reach an agreement on the communication protocol to be used for fueling communication of hydrogen fueling.
