Abstract:
An engine is provided under a seat (21) with a cylinder head (3) positioned toward the front of a vehicle. A suction pipe (31) extending from above the cylinder head (3) toward the rear of the vehicle is provided on the upper part of the engine. The cylinder head (3) of the engine has an injector arrangement portion, where an injector (11) injecting a fuel is provided. An injection nozzle (11a) is also provided on the injector arrangement portion such that the injection nozzle is at a position that is between the axis of a suction valve (7) and the center axis of a suction port (3g) and that is close to an end portion on the suction valve side of the suction port (3g). The injector (11) and the suction pipe (31) are arranged at positions that do not interfere with each other. Because of this structure, the injector (11) does not interfere with the suction pipe (31) on the engine, a space can be formed between the lower part of the seat (21) and the suction pipe (31), and this space is used as a receiving box (22). The interference between the injector (11) and the receiving box is avoided and the capacity of the receiving box is not reduced.
