Abstract:
The present invention imparts a novel function to a two-wheeled vehicle that separately drives a steered wheel and an unsteered wheel using motors. A control device includes a leaning-time front-rear drive force adjustment unit. The leaning-time front-rear drive force adjustment unit adjusts the drive force produced by the steered-wheel drive motor and/or the drive force produced by the unsteered-wheel drive motor, on the basis of the state of lean detected by a left-right lean-state detection unit, when the vehicle chassis is leaning and the travel direction of the steered wheel is angled to the left or right of the vehicle relative to the direction of travel of the unsteered wheel. The leaning-time front-rear drive force adjustment unit increases the absolute value of the drive force produced by the steered-wheel drive motor to a value greater than zero. The control device controls the moment at which the vehicle chassis leans to the left or right of the vehicle, by adjusting the resultant force obtained from the drive force produced by the steered-wheel drive motor and the drive force produced by the unsteered-wheel drive motor.
