Abstract:
Disclosed is an opening/closing type debris removal apparatus for a pump. The debris removal apparatus includes chains to endlessly circulate between drive shaft sprockets and guide sprockets, a plurality of rakes being coupled to the chains to remove debris, a drive shaft installed to penetrate through the upper end of the debris removal apparatus in a width direction of a water path, a rotating shaft located below the drive shaft to penetrate through the debris removal apparatus in the width direction of the water path, the debris removal apparatus being opened or closed by being pivotally rotated about the rotating shaft, a drive unit having a single driving speed reducer, a magnetic multi-switching clutch to selectively operate the drive shaft and the rotating shaft, and a control unit to enable a debris removal operation and an opening/closing operation of the debris removal apparatus using the single drive unit.
