Provided is a U-shaped support for a waterproof stage moving head lamp. The U-shaped support comprises a U-shaped support main frame (1), a horizontal transmission structure which is arranged on the U-shaped support main frame (1) and is used for being connected to a case (2), and a vertical transmission structure used for being connected to a lamp cap (3), wherein a waterproof box (5) for mounting a circuit board (4) is further arranged on the U-shaped support main frame (1); the output end of the circuit board (4) is connected to the horizontal transmission structure and the vertical transmission structure; and a U-shaped support shell which is used for protecting the horizontal transmission structure and the vertical transmission structure is arranged on the U-shaped support main frame (1). The use of a local waterproof structure makes the U-shaped support for a waterproof stage moving head lamp lighter in weight and convenient to assemble. Further provided is a waterproof stage moving head lamp having the U-shaped support. The waterproof stage moving head lamp comprises the case (2) and the lamp cap (3).
