Abstract:
UE context release, a control method and apparatus therefor, and a paging method and apparatus, for use in enabling a source base station to release a UE context in a case in which UE in a suspended state is going to leave the source station, thereby improving the overall performance of a system. The control method for user equipment (UE) context release provided in the present application comprises: UE determines that the UE is in a radio resource control suspended state and is going to leave the coverage of a base station currently serving for the UE; and the UE sends, to the base station, a notification for instructing the base station to release a context of the UE.
