Abstract:

Disclosed are an ultra-fine anti-ant air-blowing optical cable and a manufacturing method therefor, relating to the field of anti-ant air-blowing optical cables. The ultra-fine anti-ant air-blowing optical cable comprises a loose sleeve at the center and an outer sheath sheathed on the loose sleeve, wherein several core glass optical fibers are enclosed in the loose sleeve, a water-blocking fiber paste or water-blocking yarn is filled between the glass optical fibers and the loose sleeve, and several water-blocking aramid fibers are disposed between the loose sleeve and the outer sheath. A central-beam tube-type optical cable has a high optical fiber density and a small outer diameter, saves laying space, and meets the requirement of anti-ant performance. The manufacturing method for an ultra-fine anti-ant air-blowing optical cable comprises: placing colored glass optical fibers into a loose sleeve filled with a water-blocking fiber paste, or placing the colored glass optical fibers and a water-blocking yarn into the loose sleeve simultaneously, such that the glass optical fibers in the loose sleeve have stable excess length control and transmission characteristics by controlling the paying-off speed and the sink temperature; and arranging several water-blocking aramid fiber yarns on an outer surface of the loose sleeve to form a cable core, and then enclosing an outer sheath outside the cable core. The method is simple.
