Abstract:

An ultra-high-density and high-fiber-count air-blown microcable comprises a central reinforcement (1), at least one optical unit stranded layer is arranged around the outer circumference of the central reinforcement (1), the optical unit stranded layer of the relative outer layer is stranded to the outer circumference formed by the optical unit stranded layer of the relative inner layer, a plurality of identical sub-units (2) are included in each layer of the optical unit stranded layers, the sub-units (2) in the optical unit stranded layers of different layers are the same sub-units (2), and the number of sub-units (2) of the optical unit stranded layers of the relative outer layer is greater than the number of sub-units (2) of the optical unit stranded layers of the relative inner layer. Each sub-unit (2) comprises a loose sleeve (3), a maximum of 48 200μm small-size optical fibers (4) are arranged in each loose sleeve (3), and an ointment (5) is filled in the loose sleeve (3), the outer circumference of the outermost layer of the optical unit stranded layer is coated with a PE outer sheath (6). By sheathing a 200 μm small-size optical fiber, and taking the loose sleeve (3) formed by up to 48 optical fibers as the sub-unit (2), the ultra-high-density and high-fiber-count air-blown microcable is prepared, and has the advantages of low weight, small cable diameter and high fiber density.
