Title:
ULTRA-HIGH FREQUENCY FATIGUE-TESTING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/062322
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
According to the present invention, an ultra-high frequency fatigue-testing apparatus comprises: a first piezoelectric transducer provided at a region on one side of a test piece; a first amplifier horn connecting the first piezoelectric transducer to one end of the test piece, and amplifying vibrations generated by the first piezoelectric transducer and relaying the amplified vibrations to the test piece; a second piezoelectric transducer at a region on the other side of the test piece; and a second amplifier horn connecting the second piezoelectric transducer to the other end of the test piece, and amplifying vibrations generated by the second piezoelectric transducer and relaying the amplified vibrations to the test piece. According to the present invention, fatigue stresses are regularly applied to the test piece, thus improving fatigue-testing reliability.
