Abstract:
The present invention relates to an ultra-high strength epoxy resin mortar composition and a method for installation and construction of a structure using the same and, more particularly, to a method for installation and construction of a structure using an epoxy resin mortar composition, comprising the steps of: setting a cast for installation of a structure wall or slab; and applying the epoxy resin mortar composition to the cast to form a wall or slab, wherein the epoxy resin mortar composition is prepared by mixing 100 parts by weight of a base resin comprising 60-80% by weight of an epoxy resin, 5-25% by weight of a reactive diluent, 0.01-5% by weight of a non-reactive diluent, 1-20% by weight of an inorganic filler, 1-5% by weight of a coagulant, 1-3% by weight of a flame retardant, and 0.01-1% by weight of an anti-foaming agent with 30-50 parts by weight of a curing agent comprising 10-30% by weight of polyoxypropylene diamine, 30-60% by weight of polyamide amine, 0.01-20% by weight of aniline, 0.1-20% by weight of at least one amine compound selected from among triethylene tetraamine and diethylene triamine, and 5-20% by weight of a promoter on the spot to give a mixed component and then mixing 100 parts by weight of the mixed component with 150-500 parts by weight of silica and is cured after application to the cast. The structure constructed using the method according to the present invention comprises: a main component inclusive of an epoxy resin; and an amine-based curing agent, having ultra-high strength properties such as compression strength, tensile strength, etc., and an advantage of enabling rapid processing to be carried out. Therefore, a structure constructed with such an epoxy resin mortar composition having ultra-high strength can be utilized as a radioactive radiation shield, bulletproof, and defense structure in substitution for preexisting concretes and can be also used as an earthquake-resistant structure because the structure may have an anti-earthquake function. Further, the structure has very high utility in constructions requiring high self-weight or resistance to pressure and impact, such as high pressure resistance-requiring dam constructions, dock constructions, etc. because the structure does not crack thanks to the stability thereof to contraction and has excellent waterproof characteristics.
