Title:
ULTRA-LOW-LOSS OPTICAL FIBER REPLACEMENT SCHEDULING METHOD AND SYSTEM IN BACKBONE NETWORK
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/127699
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an ultra-low-loss optical fiber replacement scheduling method and system in a backbone network, designed to improve the frequency spectrum utilization efficiency of an operator. The method described in the present invention comprises: S1, calculating gains after the replacement of each optical fiber link, that is, multiplying reduced frequency slot FS after the replacement of each optical fiber link by remaining time after the replacement of the rest optical fiber links is completed; S2, selecting the optical fiber link with the highest gain after the replacement of one optical fiber link for replacement; and repeating S1 to S2 until all optical fiber links need to be replaced are completely replaced. According to the present invention, by determining the most reasonable replacement sequence of optical fibers, the frequency spectrum resources are saved for the operator as much as possible for use in additional services.
