Abstract:
The disclosed ultra-low temperature freezer (10) is provided with: a freezer that is provided with a displacer (14) that is driven within a cylinder (12) in order to intake/discharge a working gas; a compressor (30) that is for compressing the low-pressure working gas discharged from the cylinder (12) and delivering high-pressure working gas to the cylinder (12); and a intermediate-pressure buffer volume (34) that is connected to the high-pressure side and/or the low-pressure side of the compressor (30), is pressure-regulated by the compressor (30), and is connected to the cylinder (12).
