Abstract:
An ultrasonic device according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: an ultrasonic transducer module including a plurality of ultrasonic transducer elements; and a control module for controlling the ultrasonic transducer module, wherein the control module, in a first operation mode, controls the ultrasonic transducer module so that a first burst signal is transmitted from the ultrasonic transducer module to an object, and generates an ultrasonic image of the object by using a first echo signal for the first burst signal, and, in a second operation mode, determines one or more active ultrasonic transducer elements corresponding to a target area determined from the ultrasonic image from among the plurality of ultrasonic transducer elements, and controls the ultrasonic transducer module so that a second burst signal is transmitted from the determined active ultrasonic transducer element to the object.
