Abstract:
An ultrasonic device (1) is provided with an ultrasonic transducer (100), a drive circuit (104), a reception circuit (106), a frequency detection unit (114), a frequency storage unit (118), a temperature detection unit (112), and an abnormality determining unit (119). The frequency detection unit (114) detects the resonant frequency of the ultrasonic transducer (100). The frequency storage unit (118) stores the resonant frequency of the ultrasonic transducer at a predetermined temperature. The abnormality determining unit (119) determines abnormality of the ultrasonic transducer (100) on the basis of the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit (112), a resonant frequency (fini) stored in the frequency storage unit (118), and a resonant frequency (fm) detected by the frequency detection unit (114). Consequently, the ultrasonic device capable of accurately detecting the abnormality of the ultrasonic transducer can be provided.
