Abstract:
Provided is an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus making it possible to quickly change the electromotive force induced in a secondary-side winding to a zero-level. This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is provided with a first power source, a second power source, an ultrasonic vibrator, a processing unit, and a drive unit. A transformer is configured comprising a primary-side winding and a secondary-side winding. The first power source and the second power source are connected to the primary-side winding. The ultrasonic vibrator is driven by a voltage induced in the secondary-side winding, sends ultrasonic waves toward a subject, receives reflected waves reflected by the subject, and outputs a receipt signal. The processing unit processes the receipt signal and generates an ultrasonic image. The drive unit drives so as to change the voltage between a first level voltage based on the first power source, a second level voltage based on the second power source, and a third level voltage between the first level voltage and the second level voltage.
