Abstract:
Through the present invention, direct region extraction is performed for volume data, and a region of a subject is extracted at high speed. An ultrasonic diagnostic device is provided with an image processing unit 1005 for generating a sectional image of a tissue in a subject on the basis of a signal acquired from a probe 1001, a three-dimensional-coordinate conversion unit 1008 for performing coordinate conversion of the sectional image and generating volume data constituting a three-dimensional acquired image, an image extraction unit 1009 for extracting a specific region included in the volume data, and an output unit 1011 for outputting an image of the region extracted by the image extraction unit. The image extraction unit 1009 recognizes a region including an arbitrary start point in an image generated by shrinking each region included in the volume data, generates three-dimensional mask data in which a boundary is expanded on the basis of the recognized region, and applies the three-dimensional mask data to the three-dimensional acquired image and extracts a specific region.
