Abstract:
Provided are an ultrasonic diagnostic device and a method for controlling an ultrasonic diagnostic device, whereby a blood flow rate can be measured easily and in a short time. An ultrasonic diagnostic device (1) is provided with a display unit (8) for displaying a B-mode image in which at least a blood vessel region is imaged, a position designation reception unit (18) for receiving a designation of the position of the blood vessel region in the B-mode image, a blood vessel wall detection unit (10) for performing image analysis of the B-mode image on the basis of the designated position of the blood vessel region and detecting a blood vessel wall, a cross-sectional area calculation unit (12) for calculating the cross-sectional area of the blood vessel on the basis of the detected blood vessel wall, a gate setting unit (11) for setting a Doppler gate in the blood vessel region of the B-mode image on the basis of the detected blood vessel wall, and a blood flow rate measurement unit (13) for measuring a blood flow rate on the basis of the cross-sectional area of the blood vessel and a blood flow velocity and displaying the calculation result in the display unit (8).
