Abstract:

Provided is an ultrasonic drug delivery system for dental use by which the inside of a root canal can be appropriately cleaned and bacteria invading into a dentinal tube can be killed. By the ultrasonic drug delivery system for dental use, a drug is delivered to a target site using an ultrasonic delivery device (800). The drug is delivered to the target site in the form of a mixture with nanobubbles. To the ultrasonic delivery device (800), a probe for dental treatment capable of irradiating ultrasonic waves is attached. As said probe for dental treatment, a probe is selected from among the following probes and used: (1) a root canal-insertion type probe (100) which is inserted into a root canal and transmits ultrasonic waves to the inside of said root canal; (2) a tooth decay-treating probe which transmits ultrasonic waves to a decay site; (3) a periodontal disease-treating probe which irradiates a periodontal disease site with ultrasonic waves; or (4) a hyperesthesia-treating probe which irradiates a hyperesthesic site with ultrasonic waves.
