Abstract:
This ultrasonic flow meter is provided with: a tube main body (2) provided with a flow path pipe constituting a measurement flow path through which a fluid is passed; ultrasonic sensors (50) disposed upstream and downstream of the tube main body (2); a measurement tube constituting a measurement space which communicates with a measurement flow path in the tube main body (2), has a central axis diagonally intersecting the central axis direction of the measurement flow path, and forms an ultrasonic propagation path between the pair of ultrasonic sensors (50); and a pair of ultrasonic sensor unit holding units (30) which are open so as to allow insertion, from the same direction, of ultrasonic sensor units (40) which hold the pair of ultrasonic sensors (50). The length in the vertical direction of a pair of reflective plates (44) is set to the total width of an ultrasonic signal transmitted from an ultrasonic sensor (50), and the length in the horizontal direction is set short. The flow rate of a fluid to be measured is measured on the basis of the arrival time difference of the round-trip propagation time of the ultrasonic signal between the pair of ultrasonic sensors (50).
