Abstract:
Provided is an ultrasonic flowmeter used in a blood purification device, that continuously measures the flowrate of fluid over a long period and maintains measurement precision even if the measurement environment changes. This ultrasonic flowmeter 1A is used in a blood purification device 100A and comprises: ultrasonic transmitter/receivers 10A, 10B that are in contact with and attached to the outside of a blood vessel 120; and a flowrate measurement circuit 20A that measures the flowrate of fluid. The flowrate measurement circuit 20A comprises: a transmission unit 21; a reception unit 22; a determination unit 24 that determines the timing at which a reference flowrate for the actual flowrate of fluid flowing along the blood vessel 120 is obtained; a flowrate calculation unit 25 that calculates flowrate on the basis of an ultrasonic signal that has been sent/received; a storage unit 26 that stores a reference flowrate Q0 calculated by the flowrate calculation unit 25 at the timing determined by the determination unit 24; and a calibrated flowrate calculation unit 27 that calculates a calibrated flowrate Q' calibrated on the basis of a calculated flowrate Q and the reference flowrate Q0.
