Abstract:
An ultrasonic flowmeter comprises a measurement flow path (1) and a pair of ultrasonic sensors (2a, 2b) disposed upstream and downstream on a first surface of the measurement flow path (1). The ultrasonic flowmeter also comprises a flow rate calculation unit for detecting the flow rate of a fluid under measurement on the basis of a propagation time until an ultrasonic signal transmitted from one ultrasonic sensor from among the pair of ultrasonic sensors (2a, 2b) is received by the other ultrasonic sensor from among the pair of ultrasonic sensors (2a, 2b) after propagating while reflecting one or more times from a second surface of the measurement flow path (1) opposing the first surface. Further, the inner wall surface of the measurement flow path (1) is provided with a die draft for integrated molding, and the pair of ultrasonic sensors (2a, 2b) are fixed to the measurement flow path (1) such that on a reflection surface (12) of the second surface that the ultrasonic signals of the ultrasonic sensors (2a, 2b) are reflected from, the angles of incidence of the ultrasonic signals are equal.
