Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a channel body (1) having a channel (2) through which a fluid to be measured flows; a pair of ultrasonic transducers disposed in the channel body (1); a substrate (9) fixed to the channel body (1); a flat sensor plate (8) on which a temperature sensor (11) for detecting the temperature of the fluid to be measured is disposed; and an arithmetic unit which calculates the flow rate of the fluid to be measured from the propagation time of ultrasonic waves between the ultrasonic transducers and the temperature detected by the temperature sensor. The sensor plate (8) is configured to protrude from the substrate (9), and to project into the channel cross section of the channel (2) from a sensor hole (10) provided in the channel body (1) when the substrate (9) is fixed to the channel body (1). With this configuration, it is possible to achieve an ultrasonic flowmeter which can significantly reduce the influence of the ambient temperature of the channel (2) and measure the fluid temperature with high accuracy, and has high measurement accuracy.
