Abstract:
Disclosed according to an embodiment are an ultrasonic flowrate measurement device, a controller therefor, and an ultrasonic flowrate measurement method. A controller for an ultrasonic flowrate measurement device including a pair of ultrasonic sensors disposed on at least one side of a measurement pipe in which a fluid flows comprises: multiple switches each connected to the pair of ultrasonic sensors to turn on or turn off a signal reception path for delivering a reception signal; a noise removal unit for removing noise from the reception signal delivered through the signal reception path; a time-digital convertor for outputting a digital code corresponding to a time difference between a reception time of the noise-removed reception signal and a transmission time of a transmission signal; and a control unit which is provided with two digital codes each output at a time of forward signal propagation and a time of backward signal propagation with respect to a proceeding direction of the fluid and calculates a fluid velocity and flowrate of the fluid by using the two provided digital codes.
