Abstract:
This ultrasonic irradiation device is provided with: an ultrasonic transducer that irradiates the surface of a body from the outside with focused ultrasound; and a pressing pain value measurement device comprising a pressing element for pressing the surface of the body, a pressing section for pressing in the pressing element toward the surface of the body, a load measurement unit for measuring the pressing force of the pressing element with respect to the surface of the body, and a pressing pain perception pressure recording unit for recording the pressing force at a time at which pain caused by the pressing of the pressing element is perceived. As a result, it is possible to measure a pressing pain value for a location to be irradiated with ultrasound without moving an HIFU transducer 1 from above an affected part.
