Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an ultrasonic measuring device and method capable of distinguishing between a signal and noise even if the noise is strong with respect to an obtained signal. In order to achieve this objective, the present invention is characterized by being provided with: a reference waveform DB (19) which stores a plurality of reference waveforms; a gate information memory (18) which stores gate information used when the reference waveforms are generated; a gate processing unit A (14) which applies a gate to a prescribed range of a received waveform received by an ultrasonic sensor (11); a reference waveform selecting unit (15) which uses the gate information to select a reference waveform corresponding to the gate part applied to the received waveform; and a correlation processing unit (16) which performs a correlation process using the gate part of the received waveform and the selected reference waveform.
