Abstract:
This ultrasonic object detection device 1 comprises a resin diaphragm 12A, an ultrasonic sensor 6A, and an ultrasonic absorber 25A. The resin diaphragm 12A is arranged so as to extend in the vehicle length direction, on the outside a door that opens or closes an opening 3a of a vehicle body 3. The ultrasonic sensor 6A is arranged on an inner surface 12a of the diaphragm 12A and can transmit or receive ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic absorber 25A is arranged to cover the inner surface 12a of the diaphragm 12A including the ultrasonic sensor 6A.
