Abstract:
The present invention provides an ultrasonic probe including a transducer array in which multiple transducers for transmitting and receiving ultrasound are arranged such that the longitudinal directions thereof are parallel to each other and a housing shaped like a pair of plates sandwiching the transducers. The housing includes a conductive part that has a conductive property and is provided on a first side located closer to the transducers and an insulating part having an insulation property and provided in a peripheral portion that is on a second side located opposite the first side and includes an area defined by projecting the transducers in the longitudinal directions. This configuration provides an ultrasonic probe that has reduced electromagnetic noise and is highly safe.
