It is possible to correct irregularities of transmission/reception sensitivity between oscillation elements or oscillators constituting an ultrasonic probe. The ultrasonic probe includes a plurality of oscillators each having a plurality of oscillation elements for transmitting/receiving an ultrasonic wave by mutually converting between the ultrasonic wave and the electric signal while a bias voltage is applied. The ultrasonic probe further includes transmission/reception sensitivity correction means for independently adjusting the bias voltage applied to at least two oscillation elements among the oscillation elements so as to correct irregularities of transmission/reception sensitivity of the at least two oscillation elements.
