Abstract:
An ultrasonic processing device, including: a bolted Langevin-type ultrasonic oscillator (23) having a structure in which a front mass (22a) and a rear mass (22b) are bolted to the front and rear surfaces of piezoelectric elements (21a, 21b); a tool support means (24) provided to the distal end part of the ultrasonic oscillator (23); a shaft (25) extending from the rear end surface of the rear mass (22b); a rotation driving means (26) joined to the shaft (25); a front flange (27a) provided around the front mass (22a); a rear flange (27b) provided around the shaft; a rotary casing (28) disposed around the ultrasonic oscillator (23), the rotary casing (28) applying a vertical tensile force on the ultrasonic oscillator (23) and supporting the ultrasonic oscillator (23) by the tensile force; and a fixed casing (29) disposed around the rotary casing (28), the fixed casing (29) supporting the rotary casing (28) in a rotatable manner.
