Abstract:
The present invention suppresses generation of mechanical cross talk in a medical ultrasonic sensor array which has a plurality of ultrasonic sensors. In this medical ultrasonic sensor array which has a plurality of ultrasonic sensors, each ultrasonic sensor has a piezoelectric element, and a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate which are disposed so as to sandwich the piezoelectric element. The first electrode plate is separated into each of the plurality of ultrasonic sensors, and the integral second electrode plate is shared among the plurality of ultrasonic sensors. The second electrode plate is cut in a position between a connection region of a first piezoelectric element and a connection region of a second piezoelectric element at least along a portion in the thickness direction from the surface on which the piezoelectric elements are disposed.
