Abstract:
This sensor attachment tool (7) is used for attaching, to a plate-like vehicle body component (V3), an ultrasonic sensor that has a rod-shaped ultrasonic microphone (5) that extends in an axial direction parallel to a center axis line (CL). The sensor attachment tool comprises a tubular part (72). The tubular part is provided so as to be contained in a through-hole (V5), which is formed in the vehicle body component in an on-vehicle state in which the ultrasonic sensor is attached to the vehicle body component, while surrounding the ultrasonic microphone. In the tubular part, a through-hole facing part (78) has an area reduction structure in which the contact area with an inner edge (V51) of the through-hole is reduced, the through-hole facing part extending radially from the center axis line and approaching and facing, in a contactable manner, the inner edge in the on-vehicle state in the radial direction.
