Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ultrasonic sensor in which it is possible to easily raise sensitivity. An ultrasonic sensor (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a base (10) and a piezoelectric sheet (20) mounted on the obverse surface of the base (10), wherein: the piezoelectric sheet (20) has a piezoelectric substance (21), a first electrode (22) laminated on the reverse-surface side of the piezoelectric substance (21), and a second electrode (23) laminated on the obverse-surface side of the piezoelectric substance (21) so as to face the first electrode (22) at least in part; and the piezoelectric sheet (20) is secured to the base (10) in an area other than the area of the first electrode (22) that faces the second electrode (23) in a plan view.
