Abstract:
This ultrasonic sensor (1) comprises a sensor body (2), cushion member (5), retainer part (6), and water discharge passage (67). The sensor body comprises an ultrasonic microphone (3) and a microphone support part (4) for supporting the ultrasonic microphone while allowing an axial-direction distal-end-side protruding part (31) of the ultrasonic microphone to protrude. The cushion member covers the protruding part of the ultrasonic microphone. The retainer part allows the axial-direction distal-end-side of the cushion member to be exposed while, together with the outer peripheral surface (30) of the protruding part of the ultrasonic microphone, sandwiching the proximal-end side of the cushion member. The water discharge passage is provided so as to penetrate through the retainer part in the radial direction and thereby make it possible to discharge water from a gap between the retainer part and the cushion member to the outside.
