Abstract:
This ultrasonic sensor is provided with a case, and a laminated piezoelectric element (50). On the bonding surface side of the piezoelectric element, a grounding electrode (30), and a non-grounding electrode (20) are positioned, said non-grounding electrode forming a potential difference between the non-grounding electrode and the grounding electrode when a voltage is applied. A recessed section (68) is formed in an inner bottom surface (62S) of the case, and in a plan view of the non-grounding electrode (20) and the recessed section (68), said plan view being in the direction perpendicular to the inner bottom surface (62S), an end portion (21T) of the non-grounding electrode (20) is positioned overlapping the recessed section (68), said end portion being positioned on the bonding surface side.
