Abstract:

This ultrasonic sensor comprises: a metal member (4) having a plate part (4a); a piezoelectric element (2) joined to a first surface (4b) on one side of the plate part (4a); a first acoustic matching layer (5) adhered to a second surface (4c) on the other side of the plate part (4a); and an adhesive (3) for adhering the first acoustic matching layer (5) to the plate part (4a). The first acoustic matching layer (5) of the ultrasonic sensor comprises: an opening (8a) that is open at the surface of the first acoustic matching layer (5) adhered to the plate part (4a); and a gap (8) contiguous with the opening (8a). The adhesive (3) fills the gap (8). An anchor effect is obtained through the hardening of the adhesive (3) in the gap (8).
