Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention pertains to an ultrasonic signal processing method whereby: ultrasonic waves are transmitted to a subject; element data is obtained that is output from each element in an ultrasonic probe (18) including a plurality of elements (20) that receive the ultrasonic waves reflected by the subject and output ultrasonic detection signals; element data to be saved is determined on the basis of depth information for reception echoes at the time that the element data is received, from among the obtained element data for each element; and the element data that was determined for saving is saved.
