Abstract:
An ultrasonic transducer assembly for beam focusing comprises: a piezoelectric element formed concavely such that ultrasonic waves can be focused at a first focusing point; and an acoustic lens attached to the concave surface of the piezoelectric element such that ultrasonic waves, which are emitted from the piezoelectric element, are focused at a second focusing point, which is relatively closer to the piezoelectric element than the first focusing point.
