Abstract:
This ultrasonic treatment tool comprises a vibration transmission member that can transmit vibrations generated by a transducer and that includes: a first rod-like member having a mating cavity; and a second rod-like member that is attached to the distal end of the first rod-like member and has a mating portion which mates with the mating cavity while being subjected to compressive surface pressure from the inner circumferential surface of the mating cavity. When the vibration transmission member vibrates at a predetermined resonant frequency, the antinode of a vibration nearest the proximal end of the second rod-like member is located closer to the distal end than the proximal end of the second rod-like member.
