Abstract:
The present invention achieves the aim of inhibiting deposition of a washing solution on a vibration head in the following manner. In an ultrasonic washer comprising a washing tank in which washing solution is collected, an ultrasonic transducer, and a vibration head, which extends toward the washing tank from the ultrasonic transducer and the tip section of which has a cylindrical hole with the longitudinal direction thereof corresponding to the vertical direction: the ultrasonic transducer is driven at the frequency at which the vibration head resonates; and on the vibration head, a coating film 502 is formed which has an interface between a region 223 corresponding to a vibration antinode during resonance of the vibration head and a region 222 corresponding to a vibration node during resonance of the vibration head, which covers the vibration node region 222, and which has hydrophobic or hydrophilic characteristics.
