Abstract:
Provided is an ultrasonic-wave communication system with which the influence of ambient noise and the Doppler effect is inhibited, and with which unwanted sound heard by a user of a mobile terminal is suppressed. After encryption processing for prescribed information such as store information has been executed, a beacon (5) transmits, as ultrasonic waves, into a salesroom (3), prescribed-information-containing beacon information for one channel by combining, with a control carrier, a first carrier and a second carrier such that: a first carrier signal and a second carrier signal are outputted a number of times between control carrier signals, said number of times being in accordance with the prescribed information; and the first carrier signal and/or the second carrier signal is maintained in a state of being outputted.
