Abstract:
Ultrasonic wave output devices (1, 2) according to the present disclosure are provided with: a plurality of ultrasonic speakers (22A, 22B); sound generation-setting units (17: S140, S150, S160); and signal-providing units (18: S150, S160). The plurality of ultrasonic speakers are configured to output ultrasonic waves in the same direction. The sound generation-setting units are configured to: acquire a distance signal that indicates a signal determined by the distance that is required to be reached by a sound wave; and set at least one sound-generating speaker, which indicates a sound-generating ultrasonic speaker among the plurality of ultrasonic speakers, so that the number of the ultrasonic speakers generating sound increases as the distance to be reached indicated by the distance signal increases. The signal-providing units are configured to provide a sound wave signal to the at least one sound-generating speaker so that the sound-generating speaker outputs ultrasonic waves.
