Abstract:
Disclosed is an ultrasonic welding method for a conductor, which is capable of suppressing the spreading occurring when a plurality of wire terminals are ultrasonic-welded, or the occurrence of the lack of weld strength. A plurality of wires are arranged according to predetermined arrangement in a wire arrangement process. Conductors (2) are pressed in a predetermined direction by a grinding jaw (12), thereby causing the relative positions of the conductors (2) to be changed in a conductor movement process. Ultrasonic welding is applied to the conductors (2) pressed by the grinding jaw (12) in a first ultrasonic welding process. The ultrasonic welding is applied to the conductors (2) by releasing the pressing by the grinding jaw (12) in a second ultrasonic welding process.
