Abstract:
Ultrasound apparatuses (1-5) of embodiments of the invention have a receiving unit (191, 291, 491, 591) and a probe control unit (192, 292, 392, 492, 592). The receiving unit (191, 291, 491, 591) receives settings pertaining to the aperture of the ultrasound probe (10) and the region of interest in the body (P) of the subject to whom contrast agent is administered. The probe control unit (192, 292, 392, 492, 592) controls the ultrasound probe (10) so as to transmit ultrasonic waves from a transducer at the aperture toward the region of interest on the basis of the settings received by the receiving unit (191, 291, 491, 591).
