Abstract:
An ultrasound-based aerosol generating device having a novel structure capable of reducing cartridge replacement costs and a control method therefor are provided. An ultrasound-based aerosol generating device according to several embodiments of the present disclosure may comprise a replaceable cartridge for storing a liquid aerosol forming material and a control body coupled to the cartridge. In addition, the control body may comprise a control part and a vibration member for generating ultrasonic vibration so as to vaporize the aerosol forming material stored in the cartridge. At this time, the control part may monitor the temperature of the vibration member and control an operation of the vibration member on the basis of a monitoring result.
