Abstract:
An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus according to a disclosed embodiment comprises: a recognition information receiving unit for receiving recognition information from a probe; an input device for receiving a selection signal for the probe from a user; a probe select assembly (PSA) board including a connection module which is capable of mounting a probe connection module and a printed circuit board (PCB) which can electrically be connected to the probe connection module; and a control unit for controlling the PSA board such that the probe connection module is connected to the PCB on the basis of the selection signal, and for controlling the probe on the basis of the connection between the probe connection module and the PCB.
